Francesco Raimondi
L'artista e designer Francesco Raimondi propone tre poltrone artigianali made in Italy dalla serie Frames. Mix di scultura, arredo e architettura, le poltrone invitano il fruitore a interagire con il proprio immaginario per comporre un quadro personale e multi-funzionale in ogni ambiente, scardinando con spirito ludico le regole degli interni.
Il designer romano esalta un materiale povero ed ecologico come il ferro con un'estetica minimale e industrial. Il divano diventa così una cornice da personalizzare in un oggetto multi-funzione: da espositore a base per mini-postazioni creative, con innesti di light-design ed elettronica più o meno sofisticati.
Un modo intuitivo di avvicinare designer e fruitore, che può raccogliere intorno a sè un mondo di oggetti cari, come un diario abitabile, uno scrigno o un busto sartoriale da svestire e rivestire. Una gabbia spalancata, dove fare volare la fantasia.

Dopo aver acquisito abilità manuali nel laboratorio del padre, Francesco Raimondi affina le sue tecniche e conoscenze dei materiali nelle botteghe artigianali romane. Artista, bricoleur, inventore e designer, Raimondi è da sempre artefice di un riuso creativo ed ecologico che lo porta a esporre i suoi oggetti e serie uniche in gallerie e musei. Durante il Salone del Mobile di Milano 2013, Raimondi presenta per la prima volta a un pubblico internazionale la collezione di mobili Frames, nell'ambito di Tortona Design Week 2013.

Artist and designer Francesco Raimondi presents 3 artisan armchairs that are made in Italy, from series Frames. A mix of sculpture, furniture and architecture, the seats invite users to unleash their imagination in arranging their spaces like a personal and multifunctional painting, playfully pushing the boundaries of interior decoration.
The Roman designer highlights a poor and eco-friendly material such as iron though a minimalist and industrial aesthetic. The seat thus acts like a frame to be customized into a multifunctional object: from an exhibition case to a lab for creative work, with light-design and sophisticated electronic inserts.
An intuitive way of putting the designer in relation with the user, who can collect a world of objects that are dear to him, as if the chair were a habitable diary, a treasure chest or a tailor's mannequin to be dressed and undressed at will. A cage left wide open so that the imagination can fly.

Having acquired manual skills in his father's laboratory, Francesco Raimondi honed his technique and knowledge of materials in various artisanal workshops in Rome. An artist, bricoleur, inventor and designer, Raimondi has always been a strong advocate of creative and ecological reuse and has displayed his objects and unique series in a number of galleries and museums. During Salone del Mobile 2013 in Milan, Raimondi presented furniture collection Frames to an international audience for the first time, in the context of Tortona Design Week 2013.
