Seguendo il grande successo della presentazione della sua nuova auto Seiottosei in anteprima mondiale al Salone dell’Auto di Ginevra 2014, Ermini “guida” la sua nuova Sport car a Milano per farne una delle attrazioni del Temporary Museum for New Design (Milan, Superstudio Più- Via Tortona 27 from April 7th to April 13th, 2014).
La Seiottosei sarà prodotta solamente in nove esemplari coniugando l’eccellenza tecnica di derivazione racing con l’artigianalità dei battilastra di Ermini e le incredibili collaborazione tecniche a supporto del progetto.
La Seiottosei condensa le caratteristiche di leggerezza ed agilità proprie delle “Barchette”, portate però all'esasperazione.
La filosofia costruttiva di tutta l'automobile è un connubio tra tecnologia, direttamente derivata dal mondo delle corse, e le più pregiate tecniche costruttive artigianali.
Il raffinato telaio a tralicci elettrosaldati, è il risultato di tre anni di intensa collaborazione con Osella che lo ha ingegnerizzato riassumendo in chiave stradale il meglio di più di quaranta anni di esperienza racing sulle piste di tutto il mondo...
Le sospensioni push-road, sono trattate in PVD, (esclusivo e complicato procedimento di bombardamento molecolare, di stretta derivazione aero-spaziale, certo non usato così frequentemente su di un'automobile stradale).
E così la Seiottosei pesa meno di settecento chili, e grazie al suo motore Renault 2 litri turbo che sprigiona 320 CV ha un rapporto peso/potenza di poco superiore a 2 kg/cv !!
La voglia di realizzare un prodotto unico e veramente esclusivo ha guidato, però, anche le scelte del designer, Giulio Cappellini, che ha definito i tratti morbidi e le curve sinuose di questa originale automobile. Un maestro del design, che non derivando dal mondo dell'auto non ne è stato influenzato, ed ha concepito la Seiottosei partendo dal semplice concetto del “bello”.
Per far questo Ermini (grazie al lavoro dei suoi sapienti battilastra) ha realizzatolaparte “estetica” della carrozzeriainteramente in alluminio battuto a mano.  Tutto ciò ha reso possibile la realizzazione di forme oramai sconosciute al mercato di oggi perché difficilissime da realizzare con i normali procedimenti produttivi.
La parte “tecnica” della carrozzeriaè realizzata in carbonio e conferisce all'auto un esclusivo ed originale connubio di tecnologia ed artigianalità.
Ma la nuova Ermini non finisce di stupire qui. Tutto ci si potrebbe aspettare da una sportiva di razza come la Seiottosei meno che la cura posta anche nei minimi dettagli: gli stemmi sono stati realizzati - da maestri gioiellieri - in argento e smalto colato a caldo, nel rispetto di un'antica tradizione fiorentina; la mascherina frontale, che riprende il family-feeling con le storiche vetture fiorentine, è realizzata in alluminio rifinito a mano.

Importanti e prestigiose sono le partnership per la realizzazione degli esclusivi componenti che vestono la Seiottosei.
“Pasquino” è il nome del volante realizzato appositamente da Nardi per la Seiottosei, e dalla stessa commercializzato.
I cerchi sono realizzati in esclusiva da OZ, così come prestigiosa è la collaborazione con la Brembo, per l'impianto frenante.
Gli interni sono realizzati da Alcantara, che presenta in prima assoluta una nuova ed elegante realizzazione del suo pregiato tessuto.
“La Seiottosei è un’auto unica, una vera e propria opera d’arte realizzata esclusivamente “a misura” su ogni specifico acquirente che ha ricevuto un’incredibile attenzione allo scorso Salone dell’Auto di Ginevra per la sua capacità, tipicamente italiana, di combinare l’eccellenza tecnica e tecnologica con la raffinata ricerca nel design delle sue linee. Sono adesso estremamente curioso di vedere quali reazioni quest’auto saprà stimolare da parte di un pubblico di esperti di design.” ha affermato con orgoglio Giovanni del Vecchio, Presidente di Ermini Automobili Italia.

 

 

Following the successful presentation of its new car Seiottosei as a world preview at the 2014 Geneva MotorShow, Ermini “drives” its new sport car to Milan to be one of the attraction at the Temporary Museum for New Design (Milan, Superstudio Più- Via Tortona 27 from April 7th to April 13th, 2014).
The Seiottosei will be released only in none pieces in total by combining the technical excellence of the racing world, together with the craftsmanship of Ermini’s sheet metal workers as well as the impressing technical collaborations supporting the whole project.
The Seiottosei concentrates the characteristics of lightness and agility of the “Barchettas”, reaching high levels of exasperation.
The constructive philosophy of the entire car is a combination between technology, which comes directly from the racing world, and the finest craft-making techniques.
The refined electric welded space frame, is the result of three years of intense collaboration with Osella who has engineered it by summing up the best racing experiences in over forty years on circuits around the world ...
Push-road suspensions are treated with PVD (exclusive and complicated aerospace-derived molecular bombardment process, certainly not so frequently used on a road car).
As a result, the Seiottosei weighs less than seven hundred kilos and thanks to its 320 HP Renault 2 liters turbo engine its power-to-weight ratio is just above 2 kg/hp!
The desire to create a truly unique and exclusive product has, however, led the designer, Giulio Cappellini, to design the soft and sinuous curves of this original car. A master of design, who has never been in the automobile business, hence not influenced by it, who has designed the Seiottosei starting from the simple concept of “beauty”.
To do so, Ermini (thanks to his skilled sheet-metal workers) has created the “aesthetic” part of the hand-hammered all-aluminum body.  All this has made it possible to create shapes that are unknown to today's market as they are very difficult to achieve with conventional production processes.
The “technical” part of the bodywork  is made of carbon fibre and gives the car a unique and original combination of technology and craftsmanship.
But the new Ermini has more surprises. You might expect anything from a purebred sports car like the Seiottosei except the care and attention to detail that was put into it: the emblems were designed by master Jewelers, made of silver and hot-cast enamel, in accordance with an old Florentine tradition; the front grille, which brings back the family-feeling of historical Florentine cars, is made of hand-finished aluminum.

The partnerships necessary to achieve the exclusive components that are essential for the Seiottosei are very important and prestigious.
“Pasquino” is the name of the steering wheel which is specially built and marketed by Nardi for the Seiottosei.
The rims are exclusively made by OZ whereas the brake system is the result of Brembo’s important collaboration.
The interiors are made by Alcantara, which has introduced for the first time ever a new and elegant creation of its fine fabric.
